Meet the Founder
About Kristen
“I don’t think I chose this work. I think I was always supposed to.”
Kristen Moore is the founder of Moore Life Coaching, creator of the Moore Method™, and developer of the Do It Different™ coaching experience. She helps faith-centered women identify and change the emotional and relational patterns that shape their marriages, motherhood, and the legacy they pass on to their children.
For nearly two decades, Kristen has helped thousands of people navigate personal and professional transformation through leadership, coaching, and human development. Today, she brings together trauma-informed coaching, cognitive behavioral principles, neuroscience, emotional regulation, and biblical truth to help women stop living from survival patterns and start living with greater intention, peace, and freedom.
Her work is grounded in one conviction:
We don’t simply inherit eye color or personality traits. We inherit and develop patterns—ways of thinking, communicating, coping, loving, and protecting ourselves. Those patterns become the lens through which we experience our lives until we intentionally choose differently.
What I Believe
The convictions underneath the work.
Every person is created intentionally by God.
Identity is something we discover and steward — not something we earn. Our work isn’t helping women become valuable. It’s helping them live from the value they already possess.
Behavior always makes sense in context.
People are more than the worst thing they’ve done and more than the strategies they built to survive. Understanding isn’t excusing — it’s the foundation for meaningful change.
Awareness is where change begins.
You can’t intentionally change what you can’t yet see. Awareness isn’t the finish line; it’s the doorway. Clarity creates possibility.
Emotions inform us — they don’t control us.
Emotions are part of God’s design. They point to needs, values, and relationships. Regulation before reaction isn’t suppression — it’s stewardship.
Every generation can leave a healthier inheritance.
The goal isn’t perfection. It’s progress that outlives us — one repaired conversation, regulated response, and honest boundary at a time.
The Moore Method™
Through the Moore Method™, Kristen helps women recognize the hidden patterns influencing their relationships, understand where those patterns came from, and build healthier ones that strengthen their marriages, create emotionally safer homes, and transform the legacy their families will inherit.
Rather than asking women to become someone new, Kristen helps them reconnect with who God created them to be beneath years of survival, striving, people-pleasing, perfectionism, over-functioning, emotional suppression, or conflict avoidance.
Her signature six-month coaching experience, Do It Different™, equips women to move from automatic reactions to intentional responses—creating lasting change not only in themselves, but throughout their families.
Her Story
Kristen’s own story gives depth to her work. Growing up in a home marked by emotional conflict, financial instability, frequent moves, and significant loss during her transition into adulthood, she learned early how to survive. Those experiences shaped her leadership strengths, but they also created patterns she later had to confront and heal.
Years later, after building a successful corporate career, leading organizational transformation initiatives, and earning recognition as Program Manager of the Year, Kristen faced another defining season. Following a series of professional experiences that left her emotionally depleted and disconnected from herself, she chose to walk away from security in order to protect her faith, her family, and her well-being.
That decision became the catalyst for the work she now shares with women around the world.
What She Believes
Healing is not about becoming perfect. It is about becoming aware.
Awareness creates choice, and different choices create different lives.
Recognition & Credentials
She has been recognized by Apple News and Grit Daily as one of the Visionary Women Changing the World and holds certifications in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy-informed coaching, Brain-Based Time Coaching, Equity-Centered Coaching, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, including certification through Cornell University and the Institute for Equity-Centered Coaching.
Personal Life
Born and raised in Western Massachusetts, Kristen lives in Maryland with her husband and their two children. Whether she is coaching, studying, spending time with family, or serving within her church and community, her mission remains the same:
To help women experience more life by changing the patterns that have kept them from fully living it.
Because when a woman heals, her marriage changes. Her children experience something different. Her family story shifts. And what once looked like survival begins to look like legacy.
